Root bound?

hey peeps!
am well into flower now and i worried about my NL#2 plant it seems way off the mark, i have a feeling its root bound!
now i don`t want to transplant it unless i have to.
what do you guys think root bound or not? transplant or not?
pic 1= root bound? pic 2= nice!!!!!

why do you think its rootbound?nl doesnt grow very tall,,,,they look healthy to me,,im growing some myself...the one on the left looks like it was recently watered,,,both look good to me..there budding up nicely.

there both the same age and the the plant in pic one is not really budding at all, and it always looks more or less like it does in the pic.
it might just be very very slow to bud.

well the first one looks indica so it should be budding up nicely,,,???yeh what crazy said you should do,have a look to see if roots are coming through the bottom of ya pots,,,,,

there both NL`s just different pheno`s and it deff not a male, there is nice white roots at the bottom of pots, and alot of dead root aswel

anyone got any pics of a plant looking similar to this one and what it ended up like?

Based on the pics, I would venture to guess that plant #1 is getting too much nitrogen. It does look healthy, but the really dark green color, slightly droopy leaves and late flowering, all indicate too much nitrogen. Not sure what your nute schedule is but I would recommend backing off the N a little and see what happens.
