Root cutting before harvest.

Trying something new, because, well I can! Haven't come across this method, but I am sure someone's tried it, but....

Going to harvest in the next 36hrs, but trying a quick stressing of the plant to see if we can do some last minute resin production.

What I am doing in addition to a final dark period, is it went into the reservoir (I'm using dwc) and cut the roots right at the net pot. So while it sits darks, hopefully this might send a little shock through to boost

Thoughts??

Method..? is no method here:

as 4 "last minute resin production."

is still the best 'method' here

I doubt you'll see a difference, but if you're running clones from the same mom, do it to half. Then you'll know, also report back, I wan't to know. I can't see any harm from this. The only possible downside I could see is water uptake for flushing. You'll get the best flush the more water that can run through the vascular system. Less roots might reduce this flow a bit, maybe. Maybe you've flushed them enough already so this is moot.
