Root rot or nute staining?

Basic info:
DWC w/ top drip
Res temp - 23C / 73F
Nuts: 2000PPM general hydroponic
Supplement: 2tsp/gal HydroGuard
2 large airstones
Roots do not feel slimy at all and no smell.

The color of my roots is kind of surprising. That being said, the General Hydroponic Micro is very brown. Is this normal? I always see pictures of pictureque white roots. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!

PS That little green thing in the rootball is a small piece of leaf that fell in during trimming btw.

nute stain.

2kppm at what conversion?

seems high unless you are pumping 1kw+ in lighting

EDIT: if it aint slime, it aint rot.

unless you use bennies.

Hmmm what stage are they at for 2k ppm? I'm peaking my plants right now in flower at 1800 ppm... and for veg I only went up to about 1200-1300ppm .
Using gh flora series myself but also have the powdered gh nutes for some extra oooomph. The roots on occasion will be stained a red like brown kind of color, especially after a res change. They may be like this until they get larger and closer to flower and you cut back on the micro.
