Rooted clone into coco

Last year was my first crack at coco.I started with a rooted clone in a small pot 1/4g ish. Never did have much luck always looked sick. So since then after a clone roots I’ve been putting them into a large tote that’s hooked up to my rdwc. It has two air stones and a 3/8 feed line. I use 3” net pots let them root out a bit then put them in coco. Seems to work having a lot more roots. Yesterday I thought what the hell let’s try a clone straight into coco.its been pre charged and it’s pith I think it’s called fine coco so maybe easy to overwater. Here’s a pic. Do I wait until it’s light before I water again? This could take 3-5 days not sure. Thanks for any help.

That's what works best for me.
Let it dryback....not to the point of wilting....almost. Go by weight. Should get really light.

Low light. Feed normal veg nutes. 600ish ppm

Clear solos allow you to see the root dev status.

(This pic. Left in solo way too long, but you get the idea)

That has to do with underwatering because of cocos drainage. Coco is almost impossible to over water unless you’re soaking it 24-7. Saturated is good. When there are more roots, it’s easier for them to find the water. If you keep your plugs wet it doesn’t really matter though.

Bubble cloner so no plugs.

Bubble clones in general sometimes have a hard time transferring to medium because they don’t have any resistance to build against as they grow so they’re not the most resilient. Ime you sort of have to let them grow quite a bit so they become established before you stick them into new media other than sort of dwc, but even then the hydroton or whatever rocks you’re using can damag the roots as you pot them. Sort of the benefit of plugs, they tend to take longer to root but not so much longer when you leave them in the bubbler long enough to have roots that easily transfer to solid media.

She will take off. Try cloning in coco takes a bit more time but you just repot and away they go.
Been experimenting and it just works.
RO 200ppm cal mag little h202.
The first is a breast milk bottle maybe that's why it works, good nutes LOL I like the narrow deep effect. Lots of media contact with the stem. I have since drilled a small hole in the bottom and drop a disk of plastic in first. Just push the clone out with a rod.

Just a little shot glass. I have quite a few of these going 100% root no cleaning bleaching whatever you don't like about a bubble cloner. Really don't even need to water after the initial. I just mist with the same water whenever I think of it. Housed in a domed seed flat with heat mat at 80.
