Ok, i went outside the other day for my daily inspection of my seedlings and was shocked to discover that a plant (with luscious growth) has a stem that was so flimsy and frail, it barely connected the root system to the plant. I carefully removed the soil and placed the plant in a water bottle where it has been for about a day. should i leave it until the roots develop more fully, or should i cut the root and flimsy stem off and regrow roots with rooting hormone? if so how would/should i exactly do that?
