Roots Organic Uprising comments and feedback?!

Roots Organics newest powder fert. lineup called Uprising

I am interested in anyone who has used it through a cycle or twos feedback, comments, .02 cents etc.

I just bought all 3 bags cost me right under $40 with sales tax.

Each is 3lbs. and recommend that you use 1-2 teaspoons up to 10 gallons of medium. With a feed chart that increases a bit from there. It also says it only needs added once a month. They also say that if using the complete line to use 1tsp. grow and 1tsp. foundation. In bloom replace grow with bloom.
The line-up consists of 3 parts/bags.

Grow, Bloom, and Foundation ( i.e. cal, mag, iron, other micros )


I personally am liking the idea and line-up and am using 1tsp. of foundation per 3 gallon pot with all my transplants now... hoping this will eliminate later CAL-MG issues in some genetics and make it easier for me mix up liquids.

Although my real hope is that my few test plants I am running it on end up being " just add water" all the through flower..... that would be super sweet, since 3 pounds is a metric @$$ ton of teaspoons... seems to me that for $40 this could be an amazing bang for my buck.... not to mention is organic and just add water.... seems pretty user friendly and idiot proof to me...

Although I just started like I said so I have no definitive results to judge on yet....

So now I leave it up to the other people here at RIU and am curious to see if any of ya'll have anything to say bout all that....

I just found out about the new line while at the grow store yesterday. Interested to hear how it works for ya. I've use their liquid ferts before with good results though veg, although in flower always ran into problems about week 4.

So maybe its just to new for anyone to have any results yet?! :-/ I am really hoping this works out nicely, as the ingredients and such are pretty solid.

I don't see why it won't work.... sure would make "tlo organics" easy.....

I use uprising grow and foundation as a compost tea I mix 1 teaspoon of both grow and foundation it sits for two day with a air stone i do this once Evey 3 week i also use general organics grow, bioweed every other week

I had problems with the liquids too around week 4, the yellowing always came way early. Of course that was my first grow and I screwed up all sorts of other things, I'm sure.

I use the powders only with phenomenal results, i believe due to the dry nutrients from aurora are basically simulating super soil. I use them in coco as well as soil, i also have used the master feeding schedule and got basically the same results. I add 1 teaspoon of the bat guano immediately when transplanting from cloning chamber. the next week i add the uprising grow and foundations and worm castings. my containers are 10 gallons and 8 gallons. I start increasing to 2 teaspoons when the plants get over a 15" tall and continue at this rate and following the feed charts, the only thing i add is molasses in bloom and i dont use their big worm or oregonism xl. i also use xtreme gardening "MYKOS" and OG microbial TEA. SUPER DENSE and SUPER SUGARY

Mykos is good stuff. I got sample kit of the Uprising nutes the complete line. I am trying out the Organismxl this time instead of mykos. Wondering what peoples results are using the Uprising line and how you like it, any issues?

Roots Organic is the backbone of my organic garden, plus a bunch of other stuff. I think Roots Organic nutes are worth mastering. I use all their bottles, their soil, a few of their powders and a bunch of other stuff.

Big fan of roots organic

A friend of mine gave me a few sample packs of the Uprising Bloom, as well as their new Elemental Calcium & Magnesium Supplement. I use distilled water so Cal-Mag is a MUST, been using the Elemental for a couple weeks now & it seems to be working great. It does make the water milky & never seems to fully dissolve, which is pretty odd but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues, even with my sprayer. It also has a bit of a funky rotten egg/fart smell, however after I apply it to my plants I don't seem to smell it anymore. I have not tried the Uprising line yet as I'm saving them for upcoming run.
I will be starting a small, personal SOG run of Super Skunk fairly soon. I have a feminized SS seedling from AMS seeds that is currently about 3" tall & on its 3rd set of true leaves (Pics Attached, the larger LST'd plant is Space Queen). I will be using a small 2' x 4' x 6-1/2' DIY grow box, lighting will be approx 300W-450W of CFL's (3:1 ratio of 2700K to 6500K) & a 4' 1-bulb T5 HO with UVA/UVB lamp for increased resin production (I may add a LED panel & if I can keep temps in check a HPS, we shall see).
I will be trying (testing?) SEVERAL products during the grow. For nutrients I have: Oregon's Only Organics Nectar For The Gods (Advanced Line), RAW all-in-one (both Veg & Bloom) by NPK Industries, as well as the Roots Organic Uprising Foundation & Uprising Bloom. I make my own custom, broad-spectrum organic AACT (Actively Aerated Compost Tea, pic attached is 24hrs into the brew) that works so well during Veg I felt that the Uprising Veg was unnecessary, however I might still try it regardless. I also have several new-to-me additives/growth enhancers that I'm pretty excited about trying. like Microbe Life Hydroponics Natural & Organic Line: Photosynthesis Plus, Nourish-L, Foliar Spray & Root Dip, Vegetable & Fruit Yield Enhancer (Ive heard some impressive feedback regarding Photosynthesis Plus, up to 50% increase in yield, allegedly). I also have: Growers Secret Professional Growth Enhancer (some kind of mushroom extract, also heard good feedback), Recharge Professional Strength Microbial Superpack (one of the best products to come out in a while, TRY IT!) & Plagron Green Sensation Biostimulator (Bloom Enhancer, also heard impressive feedback) Some of this stuff I bought but most of it I got for free, so I want to put it to use on this Super Skunk and see what happens, I'm just not sure how I should go about it. I'm not necessarily trying to do any definitive side by side comparisons, although I would like to try an Organic vs Synthetic test, possibly? Like use the Nectar, AACT & Organic/Natural Additives/enhancers on one group of plants, then use the RAW Veg/Bloom all-in-one & Plagron Green Sensation on another group? Ive never done any test/comparison before & from what I hear you have to do things in a very specific way to get definitive results, or its essentially pointless. So I'm not sure if I should even bother with any kind of test/comparison & just do the same thing for all the plants, do whatever I feel would produce the best results?

Im goimg to use this stuff in my herd and vegetable garden once it really get it going lol. Should work as a good planting bed dirt/soil booster.

I have good experience with roots organics. They make good shit.

hey whats going on peeps. I've been thinking about running Roots Organic Uprising 3 part ferts with roots organic potting mix. and i will also be adding organism xl. I've been doing my research and was thinking about doing a drain-to-waste system, feeding daily(hydro soil method). i will be using a 45w LED overhead light with a 10w LED for grow lights. i was wondering if anybody could tell me how this would work, or if anybody has used the 3 part Uprising ferts from Roots Organic, and what sort of results have you seen from your grow???

Just getting into the uprising. I got a sample of the bloom and I went ahead and tossed it into the plants I had just put in flower as well as swapping for nectar for the gods nutes to boost. I can say I've never seen denser looking buds. So sugary and the plants just seem to love it. It also seemed like I got less space between nodes on the initial stretch so my lanky strains were much smaller easier to manage and take up less space while still providing the same number of nodes. Makes for bigger top buds too! Very impressed. Have bought the full line up will keep everyone posted

Just starting out with the Roots Uprising trio and I'm trying to figure out if Foundation has enough Cal (4%) and Mag (1%) to compensate for my RO water. My tap water is high in both Cal and Mag so I could add some back in to the RO if needed. My plan as ever is to start, observe and tweak, but I'd be grateful for any assistance.

Depends what medium you run in sure but mostly It isn't enough for sure(i use roots potting soil and soilless. Both alone and together. It depends on strain preference). They have their elemental pack that works quite well but I still found it necessary to add some iron and phosphate to the mix for my plants to really love it. That being said even the roots potting soil has a good helping of coco and peat moss so its gonna need that cal mag and iron for sure.
Rock phosphate works well, though it takes a while to break down so for it to be effective immediately i put 15ml of cannazyme in a small cup of water and let 1/3 of the rock phosphate I intend to use in the soil sit in it for an hour or two til it breaks down. Dilute it into 1.5 to 2 gallons of water and add to the soil prior to mixing and transplanting. If you use microbes add those to the water.
I also add nectar for the gods athenas aminas, Zeus juice, and medusa s magic. My plants love it. Better growth than when I used advanced, botanicare, gh, or cyco

I transplanted this lady (who was brutally root bound) out of a 2 gallon pot about 2 days ago. In this mix she never showed root bound stress, and root growth was faster than usual so I had no way of knowing it was bound as well as she didn't show any signs of transplant shock. She was also topped only about 5 or 6 days ago. Pretty awesome to me. I will say I had one very very very finicky strain show some transplant shock. But it wasn't too bad and it was root bound the worst of all

OK thanks for the tips. My base soil is Roots Organic, Worm castings, Roots Oregonism (micros) and Grow Stones. I will pick up some Elemental and keep an eye on the iron and P requirements.

I highly recommend mixing in some kelp meal into your soil if you use mycos. Cheap potassium booster and most has a bit of nitrogen and its killer fungal food

I always mix in kelp meal, earthworm castings, rock phosphate, and Greensand(only in plants that are vegged at least 2 months or if they have a really long flower period as it takes awhile to breakdown and can supply some potassium later in flower when other sources have been used up.)
From there my plants only need the roots uprising and elemental for most strains. Heavy feeders require the medusa s magic though
