Roots

I was using 2 litre bottles to get my babies started, today I transplanted 2 of them into 1 gallon pots and the roots were all the way to the bottom of the 2 litres. I got 7 plants and that's way too many for my 7 CFL's , I think I am going to transplant them all outside now. Do you think it's still early enough to transplant them outside when they are about 2 inches tall?

yes i would wait about 6 inches. it will become shocked and at 2 inches it will want to lay over. let the main stem get stronger first. you need a good 2 months in most outside soil to get good budsets. i like to be in the ground in this climate by june 1 2 month outside veg and 2.5 flower time and your smokin bout nov 1 finish cured

It seems like they aren't growing any bigger in the 2 litres. The roots were all the way too the bottom. If the roots hit the bottom they will stop growing right?

you can let the roots hit the bottom, they will keep searching nutes. you need to allow the soil to dry out almost completely so the roots can get air too. you have good drainage too dont you ?

So can I get away with leaving them in those 2 litre bottles? I can cover the sides so no light gets in. The one I transplanted today was a mess I moved to it a 1 gallon container. I am going to take 3 or 4 outside soon and I have 2 more I just started today. The seeds took forever too pop but oh well I know there TOP NOTCH.
