Yummy Yummy Yummy I bet the flavor is insane...bravo !
Somebody sell this man a press...lol
Great job and good info as well
Thanks, I've been dying to buy a press for a while but I've been pretty leery about all the rosin press companies out there who have just slapped together a bunch of cheap parts to take advantage of the hype. I just received a pretty good chunk of money, and am really considering pulling the trigger on a Sasquash press.

Also, I think I saw some talk about pressing fresh frozen bubble hash. I hope that wasn't referring to pressing actual legit frozen hash. I make all my bubble from fresh frozen material. But the hash has to be dried out before making rosin. Whether its seived or microplaned. I've pressed frozen bubble hash and it's not good. It traps water in the rosin and when it hits the nail it explodes as the water wants to boil off. And the vapor is really heavy in your lungs...its not enjoyable and possibly not safe.

You are SO right on the dozens of junk thrown together Chinese presses.....fancy paint and stickers.......80% imo are not worth buying at all.
That why in this case a home made setup cold be the ticket if someone wants to source the stuff.......the right stuff.
If I may be so bold....post a link to the one your considering and i'll give you my two cents.

You havnt seen a Sasquash press? The guy who started the whole rosin fad, his online handle was "soilgrown" and he started posting stuff online with him squishing flowers in a big T-shirt press back in the day. Anyway him and his cousins started building the Sasquash press, went through Version 1.0 already and have they have now released Version 2.0. The price is out of this world, but the things an absolute tank and has a lifetime warranty.

I see they have a cheaper option on the site now..the M1 or w/e...reminds me of the rest of the cheap crap out there.

Yes that is a nice unit but of course not cheap. I think it's good choice. The bigger one is a real brute huh? That's the most powerful one I've seen as a rosin press only unit. The frame is ultra important or the thing flexes. It's being forced apart after all. So the more robust you can afford the better off you'll be. Some units look strong but aren't. Those units look pretty decent. Yes i had heard of them.

I like this little powerhouse.

Plus these guys are using stainless for plates. And an insulator to keep heat creep off the ram. Dual heaters. Aluminum is not my first choice for plates anymore. Stainless is much stronger. Note this unit is made of only stainless....frame and all.

Ya that's a nice unit! I like how it can be tipped over when pressing to allow the rosin to flow out and away from the plates. Combine that with the directional flow parchment tek and your laughing. The faster you can get the rosin away from the heat the better.

And all stainless...oh la la

Where do you source your rosin screen bags?

Best I've found is $1.2/bag for 2x4.5"

Seems I've be using quite i few if I decided to press flowers with them.

I believe patients are allowed to make rosin as it's solvent less. We were awarded the right to extracts as long as solvents weren't used to obtain them. Well we all know the heat from a squish has no solvents used. Therefore no need for Lp's to be the only supplier of oils or sap.
Fuck you again trudy maggot model dancer....we win as usual.

I wouldn't put it past HC to ban rosin too. They could say it's to save our fingers from being burnt or squished, lol.

We used a sawed off two litre plastic pop bottle. A slip of the knives got you a lung full of burnt plastic...hahahahah
We used the glass pop bottles, throw a little stone in, swish around and flick to make a hole, insert knives, no plastic. Been a while, and all this talk about hot knives has me looking for empty bottles, have a stash of old camping cutlery available. Next time I see a hot plate on sale at Canadian Tire will go back 40 years or so and do a few hits for old times sake. I remember a few slips like some of the one's mentioned, recipe for burns, stoner with red hot knives, hmmm... maybe we're not as smart as we think we are ;)

Hahahahahahaha....
Stoners are smart! IE: we took the plastic 2lt bottle to another level... once we cut the bottom off we stuffed the top (mouth piece) with ice cubes and shoved the bottom back in upsidedown with holes. Cooler hooter! The plastic hoots were easier to take...hahahah
