The men have work and most are lean from labor. A lot hunt, fish, trap, garden, cut firewood. They have integrity- are honest and moral. They can be counted on.

I've lived in good sized cities, Philly, Beantown, Anchorage, San Diego. I liked it well enough but prefer suburban/rural.

What's the rural areas like in the UK? I've always wanted to travel over there and camp out and ride my bike in the countryside, see some old castles.

my experience is rural americans are undereducated and don't care to be any better. i will bet 90% of the motherfuckers in the little town where i live voted for trump and they think they did right.

Not all rural folks are uneducated. For some people it's just their life, you know, like farmers. Some families have had the farm for generations and each new generation continues to work the farm/family business. I'd bet 99% of you in this thread couldn't even figure out how to start up a tractor let alone drive one in a field all day.

You guys really think that all rural areas are just dumb white rednecks? Where I'm at, there is a significant Hispanic population and these folks are some hardworking farmers. Some own and operate dairy farms, some own acres and acres of land and some have small horse ranches. Would you call these Hispanic farmers uneducated rednecks?

The difference being, their kids are hustling hard and getting an education so they don't have to do their parents jobs while white kids expect those jobs to be there waiting for them, educated or not.

This isn't an isolated phenomenon. It happens in South America too. Rural people are less educated because they get less funding for education from the central government and they need physical labor. We are in a unique position to be able to afford to educate all but we chose not to. I believe its because it benefits those with power and wealth not to let people better themselves and compete for the limited resources they are hoarding.

White Americans believe they are owed everything while immigrants who can appreciate it run circles around them.
2x in the last week Ive heard white people complaining about hours getting cut or losing their jobs because a minority got to work earlier and worked the hours they refused. Waaaaahhh! Dumbass.
