Samsung SMD 5630 strip build!!

Hi guys,

I am from the netherlands and looking for a good led strip build. Got alot of knowledge about growing and very interested in led lighting. Here in NL its not legal to grow so i have to find a way to make a led fixture wich has a high ppfd output at least similar to a dimlux 1000w DE on boost function.

My main focus would be a fixture for a 150x150cm flower surface. I will use a gorilla grow tent for max reflection. Sorry about the metric standards i use, because we dont use inch and i dont wanna make errors so i will use our metric standards to simplify.

I am pretty new to led strips, here at the netherlands we dont have extended knowledge about led lighting. I did alot of research about led lighting mainly cobs and QB boards. But because of the legal problems i think led strips will be the best option so i can eventually build a two layer grow room to get maximum yield output. So i am not looking for a build that would get me max gram per watt but rather max gram per meter. The wattage i need to accomplish this doesnt matter either.

Mabey there are some experts here that can help me design a led strip fixture that will fit those parameters. I think samsung smd 5630 3500k strips would be the best option. But i dont know exactly how much of those i have to put in this fixture and wich drivers i have to use to power them up. I found alot of this strips on alixpress but dont exactly know wich are the best to buy. Mabey you guys can refer to the best companies to buy this stuff.

It would be really nice if you guys will help me design the best fixture. And mabey this will be a new thread that that will be usefull for many dutch growers whom are interessted to make the next step to modifying our light fixtures.

Xxx khaleesie.

Wow thx i will do some research about this strips. How much would you need of this strips to make a fixture within the ppfd range of my post.

Hey I may be able to help work this out but am unaware of the output of that 1000w dimlux DE you mentioned. Can you advise what you get out of that?

I can't answer that, but people here are using around 30-40 watts/square foot or 323-430 watts/square meter.
