Sativa SOG question

How much would a tiny sativa clone stretch during first week of flowering? I am thinking about taking 6 small clones from my mothers and putting them tightly packed under a 150w HPS. The clones would be about 4" tall when put in flowering...I'd like to end up with 6 12-16" plants that are single cola's no side branching. The sativas I have flowering now were put in flowering at around 12" tall and tripled in height. So I was thinking if I put 4" clones and they tripled in height they'd be around 12"-16" tall yes? Or does it not work that way hehe? If anyone has experience with sativa SOGs I'd appreciate your advice.

I was originally considering a SCROG with the mothers but from what I'm reading its a real pain to manage a SCROG...

But I think I herd somewhere here that a rooted clone put into flowering will get to be about 18-20'' tall...

unsure if this is true for a sativa or not!

I would think your estimation is reasonable.

I would be happy with 20" tall. I just think it'd be neat to have a bunch of single cola plants that way they can focus their energy on growing the cola and not the cola + side branches that waste energy and never amount to that much anyway...I'm a casual smoker and an ounce or two from six small plants would make this pothead happy :joint:(:

Yeah I want that dank main cola to make all my buddies jealous!

Its all about the kinex...

I really doubt they will get past 20 inches,

they only veg for 2-3 weeks into flowering, and then they stop.

If you're in soil, fugged aboud it.

DWC or aero... I dunno, if you're really good, maybe you could "do" it,

all you would have to do is a little LST to correct that.

I think this has more to do with genetics and how well the roots do...

What kind of light are you pursuing?
