Say it aint so!!

This is most of my bank. The six alone are from one lucky bud in a bag of purple looking herb. It was mid grade in my opinion. The others are mixed up. I know there are a couple gorilla glues in there i bought that in Colorado and found 2 beans. Others are from brick and med that were given to me.

Youll find a fem in one of those easily, ultra rare to get 6 males from 6 seeds.

That said money is key to better grows, buy some fems

On a side note and for new fem growers -

Should you find weird or male looking preflowers on your fem seeds simply ignore it. These plants are 100% female and will all produce bud.

Any hermie issue is more down to you and easily managable, just grow the plant and you will get bud

Mr kingrow i ask you one last question today... Or anyone reading this. Ive read that germ temps effect this. My grow is a hot grow. Max temps. Is it possible that every seed i sprout will have a tendency to go male or is that a widespread myth?

I have never met anyone on this site that can influence sex by temps or any other environmental means. Yer theres probably a small bit of truth in it but mainly one big myth.

Use to be threads on when exactly sex was determined, seed or at flowering. Maybe theres an answer on that by now but mainly no one knows.

At the end of the day its a plant, treat it simple and it will grow fine in soil. Start listening to sex temps, calmag, hermies etc etc and your going to end up in a mess doing a whole load of uneeded shit.
These boards confuse, just ignore it all and grow it like anything else.

Too hot and youll get rot at germination. No need to keep seeds above room temp as they germinate at much lower temps anyway.

I pop my seed in a glass of water for 24hours then in the soil and water then walk the hec away for five days. Mother nature dosent need us fussing

UPDATE: The plant was a male yes. It grew pollon sacks like a mofo in the next couple days so i trashed it. Taking Kingrow1s advice and popping the 6 same. However i had to change things up a bit. This is things now. Where i can "weed them out".

Tried to tell you last week that was a boy. I wouldn't have said anything if I was not sure. I sex out multiple plants in the same room as my budding plants so I need to detect boys early to avoid pollination. A few tips to help you train your eye:
Use magnification like a jewelers eye loupe to see very closely the spots at the nodes where they begin to show sex. Sexually mature plants can take up to 14 days to transition to flowering phase. The boys usually will show first then the girls a few days later but sometimes it can happen simultaneously. If you ever see balls that look like testicles it's a boy; kill it. Obviously when the 2 white pistils emerge in a V shape they are girls but it can take awhile sometimes to show...don't get impatient if it looks like nothing is happening at the nodes; that is usually a good thing.
Fem seeds make things much easier of course but if all you have in hand is regular seeds try to pop an even number of them at a time and then take the extra step to "weed out" the boys. I flip plants from seed as early as week 4 but then reveg them later & take cuts.
You can expect about a 50/50 ratio over the long term. That doesn't mean you should count on getting half girls just assume if you have x amount of beans on hand that potentially half of them could be.

This vegged for a month then i switched it. I am growing it in a big tote with roughly 150w mixed spectrum cfls so i needed it to stay somewhat short. I have not removed it yet as i still have hope. Its a smelly little plant and id love to finish it. I have poured over hundreds of pics of male and fem plants but this one does not really look like any ive seen. I appreciate you helping me.

I hate fems . They tend to hold the genetic structure of being hermies .
Matter of fact fem seeds are screwing up the genetic structure of cannabis in the US .
I would never take a baby and put it under 12/12 and then stress it by bring it back to veg or cloning it if it's a keeper then bring it back and reveg it.
They will show sex in veg if you just give them a little bit of time.
It will show sex in veg.
Then kill all the males take clones of the females run them to find if you have a decent female you want to keep .
Keep that one and throw away the rest.
A female will have pussy hairs and the males have balls .
Everyone has there own way of doing things and I'm not knocking how anyone wants to do it.
I just don't and gave my reason why.
Not picking or bashing anyone.
I feel like I should have a disclaimer printed .lol

Update on that plant up there, it was a hermie, I finished it outside and got a couple zips off it but it was seedy but a decent smoke really. Working on some new things on another post in newbie central. Autos.
