Thanks brother, that first Tangerine Dream is ate up.. poor girl had me to deal with- though they could speed it up a bit..


I had some extra clip on/stand 6" fans, so just for you psu.. and in preparation for the summer heat and humidtity, I threw them in. Shit is like a windtunnel in there ha~! Its pretttyyyy cool in there as is right now (68-73* @ 12" under the -90) so I am gonna keep an eye out for "wind burn,"

but i dont see the extra circulation in the flower cabinet to be a worry at all- that second -90 does make it pretty toasty.. and theyre just fattening on up since the extra coverage




I did finish my "Trays" for my Drying Box the other day if anyone is interested ill snap some shots and post the finished product.

Everything is behing a locked door, fannnnntastic.... well..... now everyone is going to wonder "why is this door locked in this garage?... O wait, it's humming too..."

Nope, I made a lever/pulley action lock that lets the door act like it is open, but is being blocked by the trimboard or another object.


Obviously it had to be super stealth to enter, so a faulty outlet box was my decision. That or a rotating clock... and the outlet sounded a bit easier.

Again, I may post some pics.... the ol lady was just like "cool..."

I dont think she understands the magnitude of such a addition.

The fourth picture is how it stands as of now, but I am going to double up the drywall as I finish the rest of the lock system (tweaks, insulating..)

There was a lot of small shit that made this a lot harder than it should have been... but it's almost done, and functional.

I may be adding a second "Swing Arm" about 18" below the door knob, to give a little catch there as well, I will probably add that when I double up the drywall behind the veg cabinet


O...btw, every one, put some diecast rollers on your cab's before you put gallons of water inside of them.... I tried... just laughed... and smoked another one

Hey buddy good luck with your TD. Looks like your pheno may take it's time. The only thing I can think of is 10/14, lower your temps and get some 730-740nm in there to get her to finish. Otherwise if it starts to foxtail you may just want to chop. It's not a trich monster like the SLH but production goes up towards the end. TD really reacts to PH swings so keep it steady sir. I cant wait for that SLH... and my clones are draggin some asssssss. The tangerine dream mothers will be ready before the slh will REALLY start to veg lol

I had docked it back to 11/13 to kindve nudge things along, I may set it back to 14 tomorrow. With how large the second round of TD is getting I am going to want to get it under the dual -90's asap

I think next week may be it for the first round, next tuesday will make it 9 weeks..

I have ironically, and reluctantly (not to mention accidentally) corrected the ph problem and the second round. it was 5.9 monday and tuesday, and 6.0 today... ?

Im alright with that...lol. Then my mind starts flying and I think I narrowed it down to- using as much Protekt as I had been to correct the ph made the "base" ppm rise to like...200? give or take, Im gonna experiment and up my starting ppm with the next res change and see what goes down... I really dont like the idea of having misc solids in my water, but I have been reading a bit on RO's (and my filter is trashhhhed), not to mention things have been much smoother since the transition... may be worth the peace of mind/$



I did start "flushing" the TD, I drained about 3/4's of the res and filled it back up with RO (you. fucking. hypocryte. haha)

I do top off with RO... So thatll give me anywhere of 1-2 week flush. Either way, id be surprised if this thing is green... anywhere, by the end of it.





The second round, is just truckin along. 1 week flower yesterday, I decided to throw in a dose of ~3ml/gal (i go by liters right now) of Cal/Mag to help push things along. New growth shooting out over the screen now, I am only training a few back down. The smaller ones shoots are pretty well even with the rest



I trimmed em up nice and tight a few days ago, shows the multiple FIM/Toppings all over,

Im going to have a shit TON of wispy buds from this first round, my ultimate goal for this next round is the exact opposite.

Thank you puff! Hopefully those weigh in well... there are a total of 5-6 large cola's like that, but a outrageous amount of popcorn down low. I should have trained her more, but at the time I was trying to worry about to many different variables. Some times you just have to stand back, and smoke. lol What's the occasion that is pulling you away from the forum Puff? Family vaca? Every one needs a little break here and there- or else you'll get burnt out..

Training will definitely help with popcorn buds or just trim off that growth and don't worry about it. Good thing about popcorn is it makes for good hash/butter/kief. Yeah, the old lady and I are taking a vacation to south america to visit her familia and do some sight-seeing. It will be nice to get out of the office for a couple weeks andbe.able to relax without any worries. only problem is I won't have access to any dank while im down there...I'll survive though...maybe...

Thank you much CP, this was a learning experience in it's own- changing setups/location is never easy, and this is a small grow (but my largest- first grow was in 8 cu ft box) so gauging when to flip is slowly becoming an art, not to mention there are always a lot of moving variables to nail down.. I think it will be a minute before I have an ORGANIZED perpetual cycle (with the multiple strains)


Welp, I got excited- I have been using my dad's oldschool desk microscope to check things out in the past, I ordered myself a Jewlers loupe that mounts to your iphone- So i had been using these to see about where we were. And every thing was crystal clear... fuck..

Guess what. That other TD is tired of waitin!



I really just need to push things along, that second round is yellow on all main tops- and not light slight def... like yellow. They should bounce back once I get them the damn headroom they need.

I am using the flower cab because 1.) the drying box isnt big enough for all of it, 2.) my humidity outside narnia is high 60's low 70's.. and the site doesnt specify if TD is mold resistant, Id rather play it safe and dry it in the 53% cab for now...

also i assume you just turned on light to show us, but remember light will degrade your trichs after its cut (turn them amber).

The plan is to give em 24-48 hours of drying before I trim. I have read two different approaches as to WHEN to trim for flavour, and most are saying that the stems/fan leaves/sugar leaves drying out allows a slower dry (almost a precursor to cure) and better taste- but like you had pointed out... Trimming is gonna be a bitch it i let all of that dry on there.

So I decided a nice median would give me an easier trim, decent taste, with a quicker dry.. hopefully. I have already trimmed a couple of the larger colas and I should have the batch done no later than Wednesday, granted my schedule permits.

I am very open to suggestions on what other's have found to be the best time to trim, in favor of flavor

that was the freshest of freshness hot off the press, right after I had trimmed them up. They are starting to frost on up as they dry.

and yea brother I have the lights off, the light timer is still on so itll kick the A51 fans on, but the diodes themselves are not coming on.

Going to do work tomorrow and try to move everything around.

I did manage to sit down and trim it all up and have it under my 4250k while it is not being used.



That means I have FINALLY gotten that second round under the dual 90's, 395 watts of led peno-tray-tione I have noticed the apical shoots that are lagging behind the MAIN tops are starting to fight for that light a bit harder and are catching up... Super cool, because I am a bit concerned I did not leave enough space in the center scrog causing an uneven canopy (i didnt think about snappin a shot of it, ill get one later)

Other than that... lights are ~18" from the canopy, thought about dropping it to 14", but I think the coverage is a bit more even where Im at. I do have the left one angled in a bit, and the right is horizontal to cover that further side of the scrog



^^^^^^^^ The following Super Lemon Haze, gave them a fresh res change and kicked on all 8 T5's- these guys have some space to fill.

Veg the piss out of them Scotch. I love SLH but ya gotta veg it to get a decent yield IMO. I think that's why you just don't see it around like other strains. Ya veg the piss out of it then it takes it's sweet ass time flowering. Still worth it though. Fuck, I wish I had some right now +=!

I trimmed every thing up and started to jar it, total dry 34.9 grams- things are very airy (reason for early dry), besides my mistakes, I think moving from 2-3 different sets of lights, swapped 3-4 times... played into some stress as well. I am pretty excited to see what kind of density I can pull on the 51's in close quarters.

^^^^ The SLH clones that have hit full veg, feeding at 560ppm. once I get the Veg portion cleaned up from the dry I will be throwing these under the 4250k and moved into a larger res where they'll thrive to finish. I will be taking a SHIT TON of clones off these once I get the opportunity, so veg will be a longgggg longgg....long, term. but, that will give me a lot of time, and opportunities- to prune, stress, and FIM the fuck out of them just how I see fit. With just a strong sativa... it should be fun to top/fim/scrog. Also gonna have to look out for that flower stretch.

Fran- what's your experience with SLH and training? Long recovery time?

I do get a tad brutal at times... Ive noticed since Ive thrown in the Protekt that I cant bend the stems quite as far, or easily as I could before. Snapped a couple mains and accidentally made a big ugly

SLH responds well to super-cropping. It bounces right back though a little slower than say TD. And when I start snapping stems I just squeeze the piss out of them before I bend them.

Things are going well in Narnia, the Tangerine Dream (R2) is starting to decide where it wants to start producing after the stretch. I cleaned up the under carriage and backed the lights off to where they will probably stay till harvest.

I was finally able to move the SLH clones down to the Veg portion on the 4250k now that they are ready to roll, I went ahead and decided to FIM. Dont want em growing fast, right? Naw, I just want some nice side shoots to be able to clone off of. Ladies were stretching under the T5 setup at full power, so when I had to dock the lights back for the recent clones, I knew I had to get them down there. It will be fun to watch the node spacing readjust from fluro's @ 3500k to LED 4250k's. Gave em a nice fresh res change. My goal is to see where these girls tap out, I think I am pretty close to their peak @ 610, little high on the PH (intentionally), and docked the light down to 14" above them. Where I am seeing yellowing in the TD, I want to see what these girls can take before they tap out. I can already notice they are going to be Light Mongers, they were just stretching for the T5's I had them under, excited to see them tighten back up under the LEDs

I ALSO just got the second mechanism for my "locking system" in narnia, I think my original idea inspired a hell of a relative, and I am stoked to get this put on. May post pics of people are curious or need some thing to get them motivated.
