F FurryDog Member Apr 16, 2018 #1 I ordered some Cree red XP-E chips and they came with some of the adhesive thermal pads cut to the footprint of the chips. Do most people just use the adhesive pads or drill and tap the screws as well to attach them to the heat sink?
