more pics... i like, sept using the cfls... i'd want them closer to the canopy to get more compact buds...

or are you going to super scrog and put in a higher screen at some point?

Hey buddy, you're gunna have to find something other then tape to secure those strings, a plant is heavy and often has trouble enough supporting itself in the veg.Not to mention flower. A good way of building stem strength is to put box fan or some other high powered fan on them 24/7.

Looks good, I agree with the tape and the strings, why not use some chicken wire? Just a quick question, I haven't done a scrog grow yet and was wondering, if at all, how long do you veg for? I couldn't find it in the grow faq after skimming fast.

You have to veg them longer in a scrog, because you have to train the branches outward under the screen. The larger the area for each plant to fill, the longer time needed for veg.

any new pic updates? curious to see how it is going... I'm doing something similar but have been undecided wether to grow naturally or put in a screen and train.

Do you find the yeild increase outweighs the pain of training?

Yeah the tape won't work. i grew 2 plants sideways, the thread is down there. those things were held down with a 2 litre bottle filled with water and The plants actaully lifted em.

if you have enough clones you can veg them about the same amount of time until they fill the screen. basically you can veg two plants for four months or 4 plants two months and have the same effect on the screen.
