Hey all,

First grow ever with 4 random bag seeds, i veged for 2 months under 2 125w cfls and 2 250 lw mhs, with some intense "lst".

I installed a scrog and flipped to 12/12 under a 1000w mh a week ago. Have been lightly trimming beneath the scrog every few days to open up air and light planning to have below the scrog cleared completely with a week and a half. I am a little concerned at this point that around 80% of the leaves are below the scrog which wont leave much.

I guess my questions are at what point do i stop tucking colas back in and just let them grow up and also is the planned trimming too much?

Any advise in general for a newbie scrogger would be great. Ive been told not to train at all other that and a single topping by the only other grower i know but that seems against what im reading online.

Ive got 2 more critical mass 35 days in veg and 4 more just popped that i plan to do the same with once these are harvested. Would like to get it a bit neater next time as im pretty sure after all the reading ive done that i made a lot of mistakes this time with the initial training.

Cheers to anyone who has the time to lend some wisdom20180116_203330.jpg20180116_203341.jpg20180116_203810.jpg20180116_203818.jpg20180116_204115.jpg20180116_204123.jpg20180116_204218.jpg20180116_204249.jpg20180116_204843.jpg20180116_204843.jpgno

You stop tucking and clipping them down to the grid around week 3. You really want to be done trimming off everything below the grid before that point. Its not needed to be done all at once, so you dont shock the plant, but make sure its all gone by about week two.
I prefer vine clips over weaving branches but if you cant get them its not a must.
