I have read all i can find on the medical marijuana laws of Alaska and was wondering, If i have my card can the police just come in wheneever they want to make sure im in compliance with 6 and 1oz dry. Or do they have to prove that im over (just like the 24 and right to privacy) to get a search warrant and then come? Also what about males, if i want to breed do males even count?

"marijuana" means the seeds, and leaves, buds, and flowers of the plant (genus) Cannabis, whether growing or not; it does not include the resin or oil extracted from any part of the plants, or any compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation from the resin or oil, including hashish, hashish oil, and natural or synthetic tetrahydrocannabinol; it does not include the stalks of the plant, fiber produced from the stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of the plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of the stalks, fiber, oil or cake, or the sterilized seed of the plant which is incapable of germination;

(12) "usable form" and "usable marijuana" means the seeds, leaves, buds, and flowers of the plant (genus) cannabis, but does not include the stalks or roots.

so does that mean I can have however much hash and oils I want. I would also assume that food doesnt fall under this category so can i have 100 cannabrownies at my house as well?

I'm sure they wouldn't go sniffing your brownies and cookies in the fridge, or on your counter. It looks pretty cut and dry there. From what I know about search warrants is that it must be OK'd by the court in your district. If you look up any google or yahoo search about seizures and arrests of mmj card holders, it states they had a warrant from the court office. Card or not, you shouldn't have the police bustin down your door. If an old lady had 100 percs and the prescription said 30 per month, we would have a prison just for old folks..

The law allows for the parts of the marijuana plant named and identified. No other compounds of it are allowed if you quoted the section verbatim. No hashish.

LEO is supposed to have probable cause to have a warrant issued by a magistrate to search. Reality is that they could most likely find a way to enter somehow, legal or not. All the more reason to be legit and in compliance with current laws.

^^^... Hmmm. No, I have to disagree. EDIT: due to the inability to define or determine the facts about the gray areas.

All the more reason to change the laws!

They are ridiculous, gray at best, and work against the patient and caregiver...
