Second Time Growing

Ok, so my first time actually didn't work out to well. I had to give the plants up at the time I should have started flowering them. It was a sad day, but I moved on. This is my second time and currently I'm waiting to see some green emerge from the growing medium. I just planted yesterday afternoon. After the seeds had been under my lamp for about 3 days solid.

Here are some details about my setup. Keep in mind it's not finished and I am contributing to it in steps.

I have a brand new light that I just bought recently. It's a Lumatek digital 400w ballast, combined with a pretty standard MH bulb for the veg stage. I have a Hortilux HPS to use after a few more weeks. I used the Panda vinyl in my grow space which occupies about half my closet.

They're growing in the Coco coir medium. I believe the brand name product I have is called CocoGro. It was recommended to me by some friends. Can anyone make suggestions and recommendations. I understand alot of folks on these forums have quite a bit of experience. Any help is appreciated.

The room I'm using is a walk in closet it's about 8' by 6', I only have my plants in a corner of the room. The section for my plants is about 3' by 3'. To ventilate I open the door every once in a while and I will be picking up an oscillating fan a little later.

After germinating my seeds for about 3 days I planted them. That was on monday and I haven't seen any signs of life yet. The seeds all had cracked and 3 out of 6 had about a millimeter of root showing.

Are these plants dead now, am I being too impatient? These plants have been exposed to 24 hour light since Tuesday. Help me ganja gods!

you need to change the air in the room once every 3 minutes. opening the door and an osillator wont do much. your going to run into heat and co2 problems.

Hey guys, yeah I've been hearing alot of bad things about the seeds I had picked up, so I exchanged, am germing and will be posting updates. When I leave the door open the room will get a reasonable rate of air exchange. In my last set up there was much less air exchange, and my plants thrived.

Wish me luck!
