secondary branching showing sex first?

I am a first time grower and was wondering is it usual for the small secondary branches to show sex first? I have a rando bagseed that vegged 3 wks and 12/12 for 1 wk i am using cfls 122 actual watts organic soil and nutes 2 gal container the plant is about 8in tall and 14 in wide. I beleive it is indica. I can get a pic if anyone wants to see but it is very small at this point and hard to see. Thanks in advance.

Blurry but that one is looking like a male. You are right about looking down to about the 3rd node from the top, many strains show sex in that area first once they're ready.

First one looks female but man you need a tri-pod or something, see if you can get a steady pic, really difficult to see, specially stoned

yeah I have the same problem if taking pics with my phone, harder to get a steady shot. Last one looked female but it difficult to see, just need some clearer shots to see what's going on.

Its a girl!!!

Woke up this morning with pistils everywhere. I am so happy and releived. This is my first ever try and it was a bagseed so i was worried about it being male.
