Most politicians stat out as good folks, then they get caught up in an antiquated system.... imean hey!! think about it...they wont tell us the truth because we wont let them tell us the truth!!
Soon .. i hope... the INFORMTAION AGE will provide our planet with access to a front row seat view of a far off distant counry s revolution and transformation after it adopts a decent hybrid govermental system, an efficient design that combines the best of Aristotle, Plato, Marx, Kinsey...
oh yeah... n ME... n one that combines the right balance of capitalism, socialism, anarchy (unless u want a police state we gotta accept some anarchy)...

School isn't about educating in the abc's any longer. Anything run by govt. and unions is guaranteed to be substandard. It just takes time.
i worked as union carpenter for a couple of years great job great pay , i just couldn't swallow the constant smell ,and by that i mean being told to 'slow down your burning the job up " or all the things that just vanish from job sites and what did it for me was all the guys walking in the building for work .It was like the parting of the sea all the scab labor going through one door and the union guys through the other .Or the employers not giving a fuck about some poor immigrant working giving false SSN it was a win win all round the employers got to abuse Pedro and his friends ,the unions got to keep all there benefits.
I know the haters are going to get wood over what i have said .
Which is fine , as i have often been mistaken for someone who give,s a shit .
Power and money corrupts. The unions are a like any tool great in the right hands, but all i saw was corruption from stem to stern. Not being American maybe i don't get it LOL, It cost three time as much for the same product you get from the private sector .

State Department spent $630G to boost Facebook 'likes,' report says
The State Department spent more than $630,000 on advertising campaigns to boost the number of Facebook "likes" for the agency's pages on the website, according to a report released by the agency's inspector general.
Between 2011 and March 2013, the agency's Bureau of International Information Programs used the funds on advertising to increase the number of fans for each of its four Facebook pages from 100,000 to more than 2 million, according to the May report.
The program was initiated after the bureau expanded the agency's presence on social media by setting up Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, and blogs targeted at foreign audiences, the report states.
The report found that many employees in the bureau were critical of the advertising campaigns and felt that the agency was "buying fans" who may have once clicked on an ad but have never engaged further

Here's my 2 cents (first post btw!): The question shouldn't be whether marijuana is perfect or not, the question should be "is it worth prohibition?" Is this plant thats supported by millions worth all the tax payers money, violence, and arrests due to prohibition?

It should not be illegal in the first place. They should not be wasting limited resources over this plant and they should NOT be able to tax it; it is a plant, not a state given "benefit".

I doubt it... do you see anyone making their own alcohol? Maybe there would be a small hype after it gets legalized, but after a generation passes things will revert and weed will be so cheap most people won't bother growing it.

conspiracy theory:
the govt just banned weed because it cures cancer and they make more money than weed generates through cancer research and treatment.

Oh and cancer is a good excuse for population control. Check out some documentaries on youtube don't know much about their credibility though, up to you to check

Thats cause its illegal to make your own alchohol, so anyone who does aint gonna tell you...

You are only allowed to make wine and beer...

And yup 100% because of the loss of revenue from the pharmaceutical corps and law enfoprcement and correctional officers trying to keep all those billions spent on weed in the justice system every year..

It should not be illegal in the first place. They should not be wasting limited resources over this plant and they should NOT be able to tax it; it is a plant, not a state given "benefit".
If its sold in stores then they should def. collect sales tax... but not from person to person as long as an individual doesn't sell enough to be considered a business..
That seems reasonable to me...

I think once this country see's how much money is to be made from taxes, the sanity will spread. More states will legalize for adult use, like alcohol. The problem is with the federal government. Our elected politicians are getting so much money and perks from lobbyists, they no longer here the people who elect them. I wish there was a site that told which politician voted against legalization, so I could vote for legalization. Politicians say anything for votes, look at Obama. If I knew how each of them voted I would better know when they are lying. Is there a web site to gain this information?

I would agree with a sales tax but not taxes like they levy on alcohol or tobacco.

Well being brought up on an island i know people like black market .Tax,s are great but it will always be a black market product .
If our powers that be actually gave a fuck about ANYTHING. They would relalise that this bait and switch lets have a war ,or if you don't like what WE say will spin you into a terrorist (sorry to anyone who flinches need to sort that out )
I often think what it would be like if man did not have his weed .:fire:Do the powers that be really want a war of the flowers

Its funny weather your in here or out there educating yourself about your surroundings will set you free ( And that's the real version of free commonly mistaken for the bullshit version handed out to pacify )

hate begets hate. anger begets anger. if you hold on to hostility the other side will hold on as-well. the only thing that can be done is to release it. and let them fall in their own madness. one can not know peace as long as they hold on to anger.

never give up hope for a better tomorrow, to do so is to lose it. if you have the willpower the guts, and the support you need good things will follow.

i see a brighter tomorrow personally, despite me thinking that things may go bad for a little while, i still have faith that things will fall back into place and people will see food and each-other as they see gold today.
