Seed bank mixing up Fem seeds and autoflowers!?!

So as the title says I’ve recently had two plants from a particular seed bank that I would go about as normal with a feminised plant of topping lst repotting etc when these two decide to kick themselves into flower while under led lights on 24/0... now I emailed the provider and they said it was likely a mis packaging and gave me a code for 15% off but my question is what could make a plant to go in to flower without 12/12 or being an autoflower?

If they sent you Autoflower by mistake then they will still flower under 24/0. No need to put them in a 12/12 cycle, that will just diminish your returns.

fuk that.. 15% for them mislabeling. I would be pissed to get some auto. Put them suckas on blast! Thats terrible business practice

There are varieties that have auto flower tendencies. Most breeders toss those from the gene pool. Could be just poor selection. Which they will never admit. Or they did mislabel a pack. Lesson is stick with reputable breeders and Banks.
