bongsmilie - Hey all

Has anyone ordered any of the mixed seed bags (and why are mixes cheaper then one brand of seed??? seems bassackwards to me.)

Here are a couple that are interesting...

This first one is "femanized" seeds! which usually are hellov expensive.

--------------------------
Breeder : Female Seeds
Flowering Time : 9 Weeks
Environment : Indoor/Outdoor
Origin : Holland
Seeds Per Pack : 10
For those who enjoy a surprise – a mix of breeding stock crosses and small batches. Estimated a minimal of 98% female. Not tested, but for a bottom price!!!
------------------------
$34 for a chance of up to 10 different strains cheaper then any single strain.

This next one is $15 for some choice name brands... again, hell of a lot cheaper then any other single strain order....

------------------------
Breeder : Nirvana Seeds Standard
Flowering Time : Varies
Environment : Indoor
Origin : Holland
Seeds Per Pack : 10
We have put together 5 of our most popular indoor varieties in one package! These popular selections are, Master Kush, Afghan, Pure Power Plant and Skunk #1, and Nirvana Special! This selection provides you excellent varieties as well as quality genetics, which in turn will bring you pleasure and your indoor garden to life. These quality seed selections are suitable for a variety of growing methods year round. An outstanding selection and value!

I know some of the banks that send out "mix bags" that aren't labled send thier excess stock. That way they can get rid of thier stock they they either a) have alot of or B) noone's buying for any real reason. There is nothing wrong with these seeds and you are right, they can be an excellent value.
However, if you are looking for a particular trait (i.e. short or tall, low odor, early flowering, etc.) you could be disappointed.

I haven't ordered a "mix-bag" yet but it is only because I do want to know what I grow. I may in the future though.
