Seedlings

Ok the seeds I planted are almost through the surface of the soil but for some reason they kinda look like they're withering up the roots should be vibrant green right? Am I under watering them? Or what did I do wrong Plz reply I don't want them to die oh and how do I post pics

The roots should be white, and more important you should not see them, anyway.
