Seeking input from far north outdoor growers

I am in Alaska above the 64th parallel. Totally off the grid. Looking for any REAL advice from EXPERIENCED growers in like conditions. We have 3 unheated and uninsulated greenhouses. Also willing to trade seed, I have some seed from a cross between LA Confidential and Indiana Bubble Gum. These are germinating very well but our cool temps and limited sun this year are obviously not helping much. The creek water is year-round but brown from tannin from the peat leaching the rain water and the melted snow. Using unfertilized Sunshine #4 it appears some nitrogen OD with blanched tips. At present I have no pH test strips and will not be over to Fairbanks for a bit. Anyone?

Odd because I have about 32 that have sprouted and have really good root development. I also have 3 types of zukes, 2 types of cukes and tomatoes and Romanian Sweet peppers coming up.

So have you actually grown at this latitude before? Or are you speaking from others' experiences? Just wondering.
Good to see you back man! Things back to normal? I took some time off in your absence as well, but decided to dip the fingers in the soil again......(gonna try coco this time).
Any tips? I remember how helpful you were when I was a newb here

Well it depends on temps before and after the summer solstice. I always wondereded about AK outdoors, Id bet youd need a climatitized greenhouse or indoor start, then bring out before solstice when temps allow, and i think youd be good provided no early super cold snaps. Hard to say not knowing temps or how light hrs progress in your area, but with some though Im sure it can be done, subbed for the far north grow, should be interesting. Best of luck

I'm pretty far north in Florida. No experience growing in those lats, but I do have some rocket mass heater experience. Just a few pieces of wood would keep your greenie above freezing all day. That would extend your growing season. Good luck.
