Go to the hardware store and get some foam tape, it comes in all different sizes. I use 3/8 wide and a 1/4 inch thick. Wash the door jam all away around the door and wipe it clean with alcohol. Then apply the tape all around the door jam.

If you have a gap at the bottom of your door you can get a piece of weather strip that screws to the bottom of the door for a great seal. They are generally 36" long and you can cut them any length you want.

You can get the foam tape for around 2 to 3 dollars a bag and the weather strip for around 8 to 12 dollars.

I just did the same thing with my closet grow and my bedroom where the closet grow is and it's also like a sound barrier if you have problems with noise.

Hope this helps you out.

Peace.

So can you put panda film FISRT ? over the walls, then put the mylar over the black and white film. Does that stop mold moisture cold all that bad shit none of us like ? you said panda film but i hear that mylar is way better as far as light reflecting so can i just use one or would both be ok

not sure why you're trying to completely seal the room. you need a way for fresh air to enter and hot air to leave.

If your gonna put panda up, in my opinion I wouldn't worry about the mylar. I tried putting mylar in my grow room and found it to be a pain in the butt to put up by yourself, then putting mylar on top of that, it would be a mess. Plus it makes way to much noise when you got your fans blowing on it and that's not good if your trying to do a stealthy grow. I just went with flat white paint. It is supposed to reflect 75 to 85 % of the light back. Panda is 75 to 90% reflective and mylar is 99% reflective if there are no creases or wrinkles on it.

I hope this helps you out on making a decision. It took me four weeks to plan out my grow room and make it all happen. Most of that was waiting on stuff to arrive.

Peace

Shit does take a little brain work, all depending on where you living so that panda film is the same as poly film black on oneside, and the other side is white. So it good for isulating the walls from mold, moisture, and is good for a grow space so what is it ? the film, mylar or that film will serve the purpose of isulation, and a good light reflecter for lights. Only thing is i seen alot of dudes groowing with mylar, and people choose mylar over most things that are out there. I like to get knowledge and would love to hear ideas honest the hints, and tips are for my buddy and wanted some pointers
