If it gets too hot or cold I'll pay the extra few quid for another heater or fan lol

I'm not offended in the slightest, I'm here to help, mate!

Knowing the constraints is half the battle.

Suddenly I'm thinking about pitching a tent over the loft entrance along with the plants, it would help normalize the temperature and humidity.

But the heater would make the whole space warm, again risking FLIR detection. If you can run a heater, just run the lamp.

Humidity sits about 40% in my tent. I'm planning on building a veg box (there Is a thread) that's gonna have to be humidified and regulated but with temps around 24c and RH 40% conditions are ideal for the stage my girls are at. My white widow x big bud seeds will be here by next Friday so I need to get a shift on with the veg room really. Do you think filtering the extracted air from tent to veg cupboard is a good idea? Seems daft heating both seperately if I can have the tents heat coming in and drawing the lot out the other side of the veg box. I know it will be unfiltered coming from the veg room. But vegging plants don't smell so that's not really a problem

I'm so glad everyone is chatting with me, and in my thread. You don't know how depressing it is to me that not a soul has spoken on the other site since the lights got turned on. Buncha damn lurkers over there haha

Gives me something to do and look forward to lol

That was more for jelly. We were talking about a 400w mh yesterday. But think heat may be too much of an issue. Im not sure

If you've got the cfm it shouldn't be a problem, but I'd consult a calculator and make sure you won't stress your ventilation/fan unless your adding another somewhere inline

Same mate I actually fucked Facebook off. I just frequent RIU now. Started chatting to some really decent people. (had the occasional elitist bellend pop up too) it's not like growing is something you can sit and chat with your real life friends (if you have any) my circles so small nowadays but that's how I like it

If I was to add the mh it would have to be air cooled definitely so another fan would be a must

I deleted FB almost two an a half years ago when I got with the wifey, and while I am a social butterfly I don't miss it for a second.

And how did you know I don't have any friends lol

I've got aquaintences and close aquaintences. One or two I'd call friends, and then family.

So since I can't tell anyone in person I come here, the wifey is fully supportive since it's mostly to save us money on smoke, but I can only keep her interest so long when I'm talking what she deems nerd speak lol

You could run your veg on a Gaslight schedule; 12 hours on, almost 6 off, 30 minutes on, then off again until the next 'morning'.

Then run your bloom space on the usual 12 on, 12 off- staggered so each room is on when the other is off, except for the 30 minutes in the middle of the night.

Then move your airflow in a bit of a circle; two fans and two sets of ducting, each moving the air back and forth. This, in a well insulated spot, would level out temperatures in both spaces.

    Does that make any sense?

Haha. It seems the Mrs on both sides the pond are the same mate. She humours me when I'm talking at least. She likes coming to the hydro shop and stuff too. And yeah I have many acquaintances just not many friends. You be the butterfly I'll be the pariah ha

I hate Facebook with a passion; I like my privacy and I don't like hearing what stupid people are doing every minute of the day.

    So I'm here lol

Going for small tight bushes eh? Hope the wife doesn't get jelly bwahaha.

Ideally I'd be cheering for the mh, as long as you can swing the heat.

Not to sound as dumb as this sounds in my head, but what season is it in the U.K. Right now?

That does make sense. I was planning on having the veg room on a constant 18/6 schedule. Are you saying to fully recirculate the air in both rooms here or still end up venting out the veg room end? Sorry if I seem a bit slow today it's morning here

    Springtime.

Use LED lighting, or at least 315W CMH. Metal halide is a dinosaur.

Just recirculate between the two spaces.

Early spring it is here. Temps outdoors average about 10c but the other night dipped to 1c. And she's not arsed as long her bush gets the same attention in the evening lmao. I really wanna go for the mh tbh. Suppose I could dry run it before I fire any plants in
