Hey guys I think I mistimed when I should harvest one of my plants. I'm growing in soil and I stopped giving her nutes one week ago. She looks like she is ready to harvest now!!! The buds look GREAT but all of the leaves are completely dead and have turned yellow. I don't want the buds to taste horrible due to the nutes. What should I do????? Please help, it's a good yeild and I don't want it to go to waste.

You haven’t mentioned trichome color yet and you have not described the pistil color/condition yet but you did post some pictures so that helps some.

With only the pictures to go by I would say that the plants in the pictures that I think were 6, 7 & 8 (the greener full plants) have a while to go yet but the others look about as ready to be chopped as they could. With only pictures to go by it is hard to say but a few of them look like had they been mine I likely may have taken them before now. How much sooner I cannot say … but sooner.

Sounds good to me, feels like I hve been waiting forever, lol Do you think it's going to taste bad? I heard you should stop giving nutes 2 weeks before harvest and I have been giving plain water for only 8 days now.

Mine lost their leaves about a month ago, have looked that way for 3 weeks, but are just now ripening up. There were no amber trichs a week ago, and today they're ready 1/3 amber, /1/3 clear, /1/3 cloudy. You need a scope

shouldnt taste bad if dried and cured properly

I would say about 50% are white and 50% amber. This is my first grow so I'm a total rookie

For me 50% amber would be ‘overripe’ but for many they would say perfect or close to it so I don’t think you would want to wait much if any longer.

At this point all you can do is to try to do your best drying and curing and hope that is enough for a good flavor because it is to late to now do what should have already been done so take ‘em and make the most of it.
