Should I let my Tent Heat Up?

Just looking for some input. First run with Cobs. I'm using 200w of Vero29 in a 2x2.

I'm 30 days or so since flowering started. The buds are looking pretty small and golf-ball sized. It could just be the strain (Unknown, but I was told it they were GG and Dosido seeds)

I typically run things in the 75 Degree F range... Might it benefit me to slow down the exhaust and let things get into the low 80 degrees?

use an hps, I recently got a cob setup and not impressed yet. Ive gotten great roots but the plants dont really grow much at all. Cookies can be small buds but they are dense, it doesnt look bad for 200 watts. I think with 250 watt hps you could get a 1/4 lb, if youre lucky youll get that.

Yea, I'm not super stoked on the cobs yet, but it could be the strain.. I saw a pro grow of GSC and I remember the buds were golf-ballish.. GrowMau5 swears by them and he is way smarter than me.. We will see. I do it in all in the name of science.. :)

I don't have cobs but a couple 300w equiv 5w, unless that is a cob, but I use em as supplemental lights to my hps, figured why not get the best of both... hell to thrice as I also run t5 hortilux power veg uv bulbs too.

I'd agree though on the question let em go as ling as they need not what seed Co says. Plant a real tomato in garden, it will tell u days to harvest, no does anyone in that gardening community use that as a gospel? Not really. Scope em and read the plant... let em go as long as they need to be ready. Some runs have taken me 4 weeks longer than days of flower statistic for my variety...

I wasnt trashing cob lighting, just it isnt wowing me yet. Im not flowering but the plants seem stalled. I had one group go wonky but it was probably light leaks.

Don't blame COBs for small buds. Here's 2 auto's (Amnesia) under 330w COB, produced 14.8oz dry between 'em. I'm not an experienced grower either, I give ALL credit to my lights and coco hempy's.Those plants had zero training.

This one produced small buds, also an auto (cheese), however, this one was topped. (Wait, isn't that bad to do to an auto?)
6.3 oz dry. This plant is in soil and really shows off my lack of a green thumb.

Sounds like you're on track with the next grow in 5gals. Are you vegging under COBs as well? If not, that's a mistake imo.

leave temps alone, add more fresh air.
plants look good, buds look good. hid makes bigger buds at a cost.
enjoy your prize

How long did they veg?
How far from the light were they?
What colour temp are the cobs?
mmm.. vegged for not that long. Maybe 4 weeks from seed. Topped once. 3000k which could be a small problem..

I'm back on track I think. My latest plant is going to be a monster. Nice fat fanners and stems on her. Ironically she vegged under 12/12 and I liked her so much that I made her a separate veg space and now she is under 15 hours light to keep her in veg until the current grow is done.. I'll scrog this one.

I also just got some blue dream seeds and the yield on those should be better.

Just a followup... I added a trellis to spread things out. It's going pretty well. The quality seems excellent. One of the buds is so hard that if you threw it at someone you could knock them out :) I have lights about 10-12 inches above canopy now.

My only regret is not scrogging them from the get go.

I definitely prefer using masonary line or some trellis from the hydro store but looks that that worked out pretty good in a pinch. Sweet tape job haha
