Iv went even cheaper, roll of weed block fabric, milk crates, laundry baskets, or 20 gallon pots drilled out like crazy. Line whatever with weedblock fabric and its a "rigid cloth pot"... just an idea for any life hack type folks

I made a pot with landscape fabric, 2X4 dog wire and a couple of three steel posts. It was all old shit I already had around the house, so no real cost at all. If I remember correctly, it is 40" across and 20" deep. In other words, a 435 gallon pot. I did dig down about halfway so there wasn't as much weight pressing out. So far all I have grown in it is a really tall tomato plant.
