There's lots of good reading on mixing your own salts, and mixing to exact nutrient profiles if you wish. You can mix from separate compounds or build from a reputable blend, such as Jacks 20-20-20 as an example.

I am not inventing anything new here. This is just how I like to work: it is simple, I have full control, and I save money.

Understand that this is not a special plant, it requires the same essential elements for growth, some biostimulants can help things along, and everything else in between isn't necessary. Nute companies are selling little more than bottled water, and if that gets on your grate then you might consider dry salts and never look back.

I'm trying to build something like you got going useing organic sources like k- gluconate i wasn't paying attention,are you also running organic?

So I'm about to do a small grow tent with a 300w COB (Thanks @Rahz @Olive Drab Green!), DWC setup for 2 or 4 plants. And after sifting through the forum... everyone seems to be using a gangload of nutes. Bloom this, flower that, sugarwhat, ka-pow holla, etc... it's madness to me right now, haha.

There anyone out there who just uses like... 1 thing? Something super simple for a nub like me? I WAS leaning towards dyna-gro because initially I read here that is was simple, but then I read more and then it seems there are more variations PRO, foliage, gaaaah.....

Simple to me is almost every thing separate so i can give the plant only what it needs when it needs it. Or an all in one but i would recommend at least a bloom and a grow mix if you can find it . I found i still need micros less often or at lower strength and i dont know if there's a grow and bloom with all the aminos already... n-p-k
