Well I have my Skype Dr. Appt. next week. What to expect from this. What questions will they ask ect?

they will ask about your symptoms, just tell what you experience, how much you're using to manage what you experience, and that should be basically it. Don't be intimidated, just answer the questions with honesty.

Yes, and they would probably ask you anyways, just to see if you already know that it helps you with your condition.

ps: Is it the do no harm clinic thats gonna Skype you?

it's a private clinic so the fee they charge is worth it.

I mean what does jail time cost or even an hour of legal council. It's worth the peace of mind to me anyways.

OP, I've skyped with the same clinic you're most likely going through right now.
They're nice people and the conversation shouldn't take long.. What happened with me is I talked to the girl (secretary of sorts) first and then she said the 'doctor will see you shortly'. She turned the laptop a little so it faced a wall and then walked away hah. About 5 minutes later a dude walked in and we talked briefly.
He basically just asked me why I think weed would help me etc etc.

The fact that youre talking to a doctor just means they've already decided to sign off on your papers. Doing a skype 'meeting' is just a technicality they have to go through to make the whole process 100% legal.
Just chill and know that you'll be approved. Besides, youre paying them for this shit.. You're their customer man.

So I have a doctor who I suspect might sign for me... but I'm nervous he will not. At the same time I don't want to go behind his back to the DNH clinic. I also sorta feel like the DNH clinic is a rip off. But at the same time I want a minimum 14g license so I can juice effectively (I prefer smoking in the evening). Probably more would be better for my purposes, but I'm not sure how I'd feel about going behind my doctors back. Have you guys done that? Did your existing doctor write you off as a patient?

If you think your doctor is open minded, do a little research before you go in, go to credible places for how cannabis is shown to help the condition you have, and how the method in which you consume leaves you completely functional while alleviating your ailments. Be honest, prepared, and ready to teach your doctor if need be. Some of them are coming around now from my understanding, but do not want to be outed like previous doctors.

In other words, you may find ones that are starting to come around. But people will likely be hard pressed to get names considering the big hoop-lah of media focusing on Medical Marijuana, which brought down one if not more of the largest signing doctors our country had.

But to be honest, I'm kind of glad in a way. Now that a new age is approaching, with something like 14,000 current MMAR authorized patients legally consuming Marijuana for mild to life threatening conditions, many "General Practitioners" that MMAR patients normally see for other issues and regular prescriptions, are seeing a great decrease in the required "Chemical" drugs that big pharma has been pushing for decades, all because their patients use cannabis for their condition and no longer need the same amount, if any at all, of their previous medication. Compared to the patients who do not consume cannabis, for whatever reason (Can't get a doctor to sign, to afraid to go "legal", afraid of jail time is you use, which increases greatly when dealing with the black market), who still have to use their regular amounts of chemical drugs such as Oxycontin etc.

The MMAR reform is a joke, and was decided behind closed doors between growers (I believe of the organized crime nature) and the government, us the patients didn't have any say in how we are to receive our medication, and we certainly would not have given up our constitutional right to grow it.

I agree with you Pharoah. I'm not sure it's typical organized crime though. It was more than likely big business organized crime.

I'm unsure how the Bikers and such feel about the whole thing. I know for without a doubt they love the new mandatory minimums since a) they are pretty weak and b) it's gonna force a lot of small timers out of the market.

I also have a Skype appointment, although beginning of May. Just say it how it is. I think since they called you and asked to set up a Skype appointment, you are more than half way there.

I assume you have/had to send in some forms and passport photos ahead of time. I am having trouble deciding which way I want to go for aquiring. If I could find a local DG, I would assume (s)he would be less than $5/gr
