Smell

... Why doesn't my girl SMELL??
She's going into her 5th week of flowering.
I expected overwhelming scent I'd have to deal with, but it literally has zero odor.

Earlier I thought it had a hint of lavender scent but now nothing.

Is that weird?

Greetings, how old is the plant? Little early for smells unless you are running high temps and cooking terps off. The reason I ask is because the flowers look 7-15 days old. Unless it a pure slow flowering sativa.

Could be a low smell strain as well. Could be a number of things or nothing at all.

if you pinch the top and rub it very hard, you will smell it.

5th week of flowering. I don't have my journal at hand but I started 12/12 around may 28th, and pistils first showed up around June 9th.
So I suppose the flowers are right around the age you guessed.

I do think it might be a slow growing strain but also believe it's an indica not a sativa. I havent much of a clue though, as it's bag seed and I'm a grow noob.
It took over 8 weeks from seed to get 8" tall

Ok, I misunderstood. Thought you said it was flowering for 5 weeks.

In that case you should be good. Just don't have any deficiencies and should finish 8-10 weeks.

Any gear details? If not it's cool. I assume you are under CFL or something like that?

Cardboard box,
Miracle grow moisture control soil,
Miracle grow shake N feed time release nutes for tomatoes and other veg,
And 8x 23w 1600 lumen cfl bulbs: 5@2700k, 3@6500

My seedlings are in an aluminum foil tent with about 2000 lumens of 6500k.
Sadly, they look sick. I'm hoping they come around..
They're in a different dirt than the first plant and I don't think it's good dirt. That's the only change between these seedlings and the first grow.
