Here are some updated photos. I have been feeding the fish Kaytee Koi's Choice and Hikari Gold koi food. I JUST recently trimmed them back and got the majority of the shade leaves out. There is still some cleaning up to be done but I should have been doing it throughout, instead of just letting it go wild. I did lose the Green Crack and Sugar Plum plants because they were just swallowed unfortunately. I have to make sure that the roots don't grow into the bell siphon, but other than that and the pruning I should have been doing this system has been hassle free for at least the past month. I did get to upgrade to a 60"x60"x80" tent so now I can put a small heater in there and control the temperatures better. Anyway, on to the only thing anyone really cares about!

Hey these look really good, vigorous growth, vibrant looking color.

Thanks! I'm really happy with how they look, they were going insane though before I trimmed them. They looked like a solid hedge. That Blueberry plant looks better than I could manage to capture in pictures.

I was trimming the shade leaves for a couple hours this morning and the plants are looking amazing. The bigger tent is definitely helping with getting the plants more light throughout.

These are little bonsai shears. They're really sharp and I figured they would give a better idea of the size of the trunks than just my hand. The cutting edges are about 1.5" long.

Just wondering, I have six of the el fuego going right now and was looking for some info if you have it, like around about height and yield, if you made bho and if so was it good or not

It eventually turned was just a residue on the expanded ceramic. With the fish gravel on there I would even dig a well to expose the ceramic and fill it with fert if I thought I needed to.

I am very leery about putting anything into the water as a way of delivering it to the plants though. With my system I have a large amount of water with a small amount of fish, so you may be able to "microdose" the system...but I would be concerned trying it.

I'm not 100% sure how long it will take to harvest a couple more crops but I'm planning on keeping this going at least that long! My goal is to have an aquaponic system in a shipping container for my grow room with solar tubes for most of the light but a methane digester running a generator powering additional LED lights, for those cloudy days.
