I know at my very deepest heart that what I am about to say is truth.
If you don't think THIS health care reform (not saying reform in general) is a redistribution of wealth, you are either dying to get some of that wealth or you completely lack street smarts.
Experience DESTROYS education...absolutely rapes it in terms of capability.
Who's going to do a better job fixing a car? The guy who fixes cars..or the guy who study's how to fix them? Who's going to do a better job explaining how to fix a car to someone who has never done it before? You'd think its the book smart guy, but actually the guy with experience can explain things much easier...simply because he doesn't have to be technical and he can explain it from EXPERIENCE. (obviously fixing cars is a very broad topic, but its the claim that matters. experience > education)
Here's where we get to experience. I believe less than 10% of Obama's administration has worked in the private sector.
If you can save 250 dollars a week by the time your 40 from age 20...you would make ~240,000 dollars in profit. This is not hard to do...you don't need people who have already made themselves a success sacrificing what they've worked so hard for so your lazy ass doesn't have to.
Yes, the rich can be greedy. This is quite obvious. However, if they made their money 100% legit, it is despicable to think you deserve even 1c of that.
If the rich were a little less greedy, things would be better off. However, something such as a flaw in one's character is NOT the responsibility of the government.
Personally, I don't wanna be rich. There's no need to be. If my nest egg reached a point where I could constantly pay the bills and have enough for basic luxuries I would give the rest away...or at least some and put the rest away for my childrens future.
Liberals, one quick question.
Who's going to pay for health care when American's say enough is enough and stop paying income tax. What's the government going to do? Arrest the whole country? Then what....how are we going to afford to keep the whole country in jail for tax fraud?
Liberals can't put two and two together.
And I'm sorry I keep referring to the far left as liberals. A liberal is simply someone who is open to new ideas and a conservative is someone who sticks with tradition. However, being a liberal or a conservative is COMPLETELY dependent on the issue.
I am a liberal in the sense of health care reform, however not THIS health care reform.
I am a conservative when it comes to the economy and the private sector.
All issues are different...and we are all liberal and conservative.

edit: I'll be staying away from riu politics for a while...the shit thats happening to this country just makes me sick and any attempt to influence others is hindered by ignorance. If you can open to the world, the world has a much greater chance of opening to you.
