There was no mold or other signs of problems other dead black pistols, I don't even mean dark brown pistol they were black, normally here with our weather plus strain normally rain dosnt seem to bother them ( can rain abit here ) it didn't even happen to all of them just the one, it looked bad like imagine bud on a live stem then remove every hair and that's what I looked it very odd looking, should have gotten pics my bad

Few things to check
Whiteflies
Are you spraying for bugs during flower ?
Anything eating plant from inside stem/stalk etc ?
Mould ?
I don't think there's whiteflies around, not spraying at all during flowering also any bug stray that was used was organic and make at home, as for something eating the inside, there seemed to have been there's funny little dark pods on the stems and little grub like things in the stem its self, again haven't seen there's before

If you had a fresh rain did you check the fan leafs for snail trails .....sometimes when it rains the snails come out in full force .....if they crawled accross your pistils and left that slime on the pre flowers it could possibly cause that ........catapillars will also cause some nasty dark damage besides biting just from where they crawl and I'm assuming shit/piss......I'd look for bugs .....GL

Do they have any aerial crop spraying in your area? I have heard of the wind catching the mist and depositing up to 1/2 a mile from the intended target.

Hmm true that, I don't think anyone does aerial spraying around here, however the dpa (gov) does spray the mountains for wild weed and cats claw, wonder if something may have drafted in the wind
