I put temperature switch in my cool tube, if my fan stop or air flow is too bad to keep the temp in the duct under 75 celcius, the relay i use for power on my ballast stop and i need to do manual reset. I think that the best way to prevent fire in the cool tube. Temperature switch is cheap and do great job

If the fan fails the tent will get hotter..it wont spontaneously combust. Also due to the ducting the heat will create its own "draft". Cool air in and hot air out. Wont work as well as a fan of cause but will circulate to a small degree.
