SOG nutrient schedule

I will be starting a sog once I have my mothers picked out. I've only done regular grows from seed to finish & I have cloned before as well all that comes easy but I'm a little confused on the nute schedule for an sog so how can I find a good nutrient schedule for an sog grow since you have to pretty much feed them everyday & up the dosage weekly I have no idea what or how much nutrient I will need to feed & what type of nutes! Any help is appreciated thanks for your time!

Edit: this will be a soil sog!

I use General Hydroponics, 'drain to waste' schedule. Starting at the 5th week mark, right at the switch to flowering. Half dose of what GH calls for. Maybe some compost tea before the switch to flower. Around the 3rd week. Otherwise, no added nutes before flower.

I'm growing Bubblegum in a SOG method.

Soil. Pro-Mix. On GH's schedule they have drain to waste and recirculation systems. The drain to waste schedule is what GH says to do in soil.

An example. I fed them the day before yesterday. GH calls for 4ml micro, 1ml grow, 6 ml bloom to one gallon water.

"4/1/6"

I fed at the rate of 2ml, .5ml, 4ml. One gallon water.

Yep General Hydroponics Flora series. Here;

(It's a down load chart)

http://generalhydroponics.com/feedcharts/

That's how I started using them. Had almost new bottles left over from hydro and needed to buy more fertilizer. It was spend another $30 bucks or use the $30 bucks already on the shelf. Did some research on the dose and its been working really well for me.

Have you tried a few diff strains with this recipe to see how different ones handle the feedings!?

Yes. Sorta, kinda. Girl Scout Cookie, Bubblegum and a no name. The bubblegum tends to look more hungry...All the time. The GSC is fine. The third, whatever it is, is sativa dominant and it's the approximate same height as the GSC. Same dose, same cabinet....

Bubblegum is the most hungry. I'm not sure how much of the pot size is involved. I'm still dialing in doses.

But the GSC and no-name are in 2 gallon smart pots. The Bubblegum is in 1 gallon smart pots. I gotta play around with soil mix in the 1 gallon jobs. Find the sweet spot in drainage.

It sucks cause I'm proud my stuff.

Here's a link of a cabinet picture. Suncast brand, 20 square foot outdoor garden thingy.

Imagine two of those. Set about a 1.5' apart. Back to the wall of a 105sqaure foot room. 6" hole in the side top of each. Duct from each cab running to a 'T' then to a single duct going up into the ceiling. 6" vortex fan and carbon filter in the attic. Sound insulated.

Smaller holes, hole sawed into the lower opposite side of the cabinet. As low as I could get them. Covered with reusable 3M blue filter stuff. Wire shelf inside , one shelf, about 4" off the cab floor. Mylar lined.

300watt LED in each.

This is what I see my tent looking like. 1000w carbon filter with intake & exhaust fans!

Same size pots as well. So maybe a 5 day veg!
What do you figure the finished weight will be on yours??
i have no idea what a final weight would be like I may start off way smaller with like 15 & a bit bigger pot than that until I get used to it then go for 36 cloner & hopefully 2 of my strains will grow around the same height so I can sog them together @ the same time!

Three weeks left. Then cabinet #1 is ripe. One female Bubblegum, fat with seeds. I pollinated her with two pollen sacks. Let her sit three hours. Mist with water and stuck back in the cabinet.

She's doing the best with GH nutes. Dose of the week, 3ml/.5/5. (Micro, grow, bloom). When they reach 9.5hrs mark on the diminished light cycle. The dose will be 4/0/7

Sugar leaves are slightly pointed down. Big, fat, healthy seeds through out. The Non-pollinated females are perky and reaching for the sky. I'm going to let the seeded female flower to the full term of 55days. I need as many viable seeds as I can get. I'm down to my last 14 seeds on bubble.

I'm going to cut a slit in a Styrofoam plate. Stick it on the bottom of the plant around the bottom stem to catch any seeds. Similar to hydro, to where you use a plate to block light from the net pot. I want a couple seeds to drop before she harvested.

That's awesome! Sounds like you're in for a treat! I wana start to make my own beans eventually as well! I think I'm leaning towards gh flora series or gh organic & fox farm big bloom, tiger bloom, & grow big. I always have used just big bloom but I want bigger yields! So between those three sets I haven't decided yet!

You got me started brother. Lol.

Had a single bubblegum male that looked the best. Folks freak out over a male. It takes a while for him to drop pollen. The balls people first see have to grow out from the stem. The sack looks like it's hanging off a thin wire when it's first starting to begin the drop.

It'll start hanging. This is about the second to third week of flower compared to the corresponding female.

I'm not sure of the exact name for it but a star looking covering will peel back from the pollen sack. There will be like 5 little fingers hanging. Those are the deal that drop pollen.

I take the tube needle protection thing off a syringe. The tube thing that covers the needle. I stick that tube under the most ripe pollen sack. Using a twist tie to hold it to the stem underneath. I try to make sure the entire sack is inside the tube. Position with a toothpick.

Once it drops, you can see the pollen dust. I over turn the syringe needle tube over the plant. At this time it's in the bathroom. Dump the pollen out on top. Blow the dust into the bud.

Do another pollen sack. Same thing. Dump, blow it in. Leave it for three hours. Spray you and the plant with water.

Boom. You got seeds.

Being more specific. The male was removed from the grow at first sign of sex. At the age. He had balls. Lots of them.

Sat in the bathroom then kitchen table to mature. Don't let him get more then 12hrs light. He'll drop pollen. Once collected. Goodbye friend. He gets chopped.

For proper pollination, you're suppose to use two different males. I'm guess more genetic variety. I don't have that space....and that's an excuse. I could do it.
