Set-up: micro-stealth grow. 2 auto-flower (Nirvana Short Rider, Lowlife Ak-47). Germed Oct 15th. Today is Nov. 11th. PC Case w/ 3 23 watt CFLs, switched to flowering lights upon flowering. Soil-less growing medium with watering agent (no nutes at all). Nutes = Jack's Classic 15-30-15 with every water (per instructions, 1/4 teaspoon per gallon). My First-Grow.
I have had two spurts of yellowing on my biggest fan leaves. The first time was during a rapid growth spurt about 11 days ago. The most recent was more growing/flowering.
It is a small set-up, but I need some for personal consumption. Only recently did I check the pH in my water -- it was high. I now have it at 6.0. Also, I just switched my lights from 24/7 to 20/4.
I feel like each time the plants started the yellowing was during rapid growth and my pH created nute lock. The low-watt lights and the small pots are probably not helping things, but it is what I got. They are about 5.5 inches tall and still growing.
