Soil mix..what do i do?what else do I need?

ok ive never done dirt before..thought I would go organic. I have some organic soil, perlite, some blood meal 12-0-0 and some blood meal 6-9-0. What else do I need. Im tryin to keep it to a minimum, this is more for fun/experiment. what do i use for potassium then? Also can you guys give me a ratio to mix wit..how much dirt to perlite to blood meal etc, thank you my dirt growing friends
