Soil mix

Been looking around for while about soil mixes , quick question does indoor soil mixes differ from that as an outdoor grow? This is my third grow cycle all of which was outdoor , could I use the same mix for indoor, the mix I did was a three way split of , perlite , peatmoss and an organic mushroom soil , any help would be greatly appreciated

Absolutely. The main thing to keep an eye out for is garden soil. Garden soil, depending on the brand, can make up a good base of an organic/soil grow, but garden soils don't come with perlite mixed in. There's no difference between an outdoor/indoor potting mix. Plants directly in the ground don't need perlite because they have all the little critters digging around and aerating the soil, perlite just takes the place of those critters. As long as there's a decent amount of perlite it'll work for containers, but some mixes are better than others.

Have you ever read about subcool's super soil? You could take your growing game a step further and turn your soil mix into a super soil for both indoor and outdoor.
