Soil Pro = Hydro Joe

Hello all. In the spirit of change I recently decided to convert to hydroponics after several seasons of outdoor growing.

I've been searching around this site and various others sites about a suitable setup for my first hydro grow.

I decided to go economy and built a flood and drain system out of a 22 gallon tote container.

The construction is now complete, but what remains is deciding on what nutrients to use and the specific method.

It would be great to hear some of your experiences that lead to good results. IE brand, concentrations ,schedule etc...

From the internet I found a trio package of Fox Farm: Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom (1qt each).

Will that be enough nutrients for one grow in a 22 gallon resivior?

My last question is about the type of lighting. I plan to have 6 plants for this grow and I have narrowed it down to a 400W HPS or switchable HPS/MH setup.

There appears to be two evenly divided groups among indoor growers about using MH for the vegetation stage and HPS for the flowing stage. Is there that much of a difference with the results with both MH/HPS or HPS throughout?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
