I don't grow hydro or complete organic. My soil is a clay composted cattle manure, along with Miracle Grow cactus soil (forest compost and peat. All trace elements are added in the mix. To that I add ample Vermiculite, Perlite, bone meal, blood meal. Then I add Miracle Grow 10-10-10, water soluble slow release fertilizer. This mixture is good for about 3 months. By then my first grow was close to 18" tall. Then I have use Miracle Grow water soluble (15-30-15. Also I mix a weak solution of Miaracle Grow Budding fertilizer to mist it. Personately I was happy with the outcome. The root systym filled a 10" pot,with healthy plants. The drainage was good. Does anyone else use this soil?
