Sour Apple Gummies

Ingredients:

2 X 2.79oz pack of Jello (I like the sour apple Jolly Rancher brand)
3oz Gelatin
1 packet of cooled (no sugar added)
1/2 cup water
1Tbsp per 2G of dry ice hash(decarbed) of coconut oil or vegetable glycerin
2-4G dry ice hash

Bring water and oil to boil, add hash and mix thoroughly
Remove from heat and mix in your dry ingredients until dissolved.
Pour into molds and refrigerate for an hour.
Coat in white sugar to keep everything from sticking.

2G of good quality hash will make for a fairly weak gummy, you can double it and they knock my ass into the couch. They are pretty dense, you can add a little less gelatin, or more water for a softer gummy. When they are dense, it is much easier to handle them.

those look good!
i didn't realize you could use coconut oil instead of VG
is there any difference in taste or consistency when using one over the other?

also what temp are you cooking that too? or does it just need to be boiling?
sorry, ive never made gummies

I just brought the water to boiling since the hash was already decarbed. Cooled is auto corrects way of "fixxing" Kool-aid

The coconut oil batch seemed more dense, but not sure if that is why.

I thought that's what you meant lol
thank you for your replies

most recipes I see call for more than 1 mold
does your recipe make a perfect batch of 64 in your mold, or do you end up with some extra

im trying to figure out mgs of hash per gummy in the recipe, and plan on mold shopping soon

I use the break apart rectangle mold, and with the recipe as I wrote it, it filled just the one mold with 64 pieces about perfectly. I like this mold because it is very easy to cut into pieces without having to pull each piece out individually. I ordered a couple other square molds to see how they work since I want to make larger batches.

Those do look great and super easy. I just dont need the calorie... LOL! I have taken to just capping RSO and/or putting infused butter/oil into my coffee. The first three or so sips are tough but it eases up after that..

K.. gotta leave the page now. Keep scrolling up to look at them..

well mine came out pretty good! they are not as clear compared to the OPs but i think thats because i used a electric mixer and more or less aerated it. you gotta work fast! i started mixing and the mixture cooled quickly creating a foamy sticky clump. i put it back on low heat and it brought it back to a thin mixture i could continue to mix. very happy with the results though. after a hour in the fridge they were completely ready to pull out of the molds and eat. great taste, and a little chewier than a regular gummy but i like it! i used 2 grams of oil for this batch, thats what OP called for to make a slightly weaker batch but my pieces are 4 times the size. ill get back with you guys on potency.
