SpaceBucket MicroGrow

Nah man. I'm not sure how you'd wire up something like that. I don't play with high volt/amp power. Also I'm new to growing. I only bought an LED module because it seemed like the best option for my situation.

I am curious though. What did your micro rig used to give you on average. And how many plants did you cram into it?

I've had two grows, one successful the second was cut short. I got 3/4 of an ounce on the first one, I shocked it and i think i pulled it too early. It was an Autoflower and with next grow i'll do it won't be

Nice. I'm looking to get around that in yields from mine.

Do you think you could fit a 65w cfl in yours? I was considering buying some going under the name Green Lamp/s.
They're on ebay. Can't remember whether they're e39 connectors or e27. The seller is located in the uk somewhere. Bulbs go up to about 125w and I think they had dual spectrum too. 27k and 64k.

dude this is a really badass grow. Holy Shit, i've never seen anything like this before and I stay on Stealth grow section for the past few years. I have a PC Grow box that's in remission, it won't go up until I move. But could you send me a tek on the lights config, I was wanting to do something like that rather than have two power strips. Also check out my past grow journals.
Thanks bro, I appreciate it! Yeah, I don't know if I can make a diagram of the actual wiring but I'll get back to you with a description at least. And yea, I didn't want to have a bunch of plugs when I could have the one to power all lights lol. It's pretty simple wiring, I'll get back to you for sure though.

I don't know if the plants could handle the cob's intensity. The case is like 22 inches tall, the plants would be growing up close to it
Here's a 100w warm white cob that I was contemplating placing right in the center of my cfls to super boost my bucket, but the cob does seem like it would be too intense for the plant, especially during seedling stage. I may install a 50w cob in the future though.

I think with a 100w cob you'd have all the light you need. Cfls would be fillers at this point. But yes. I also think 100w would be too much for seedlings. Wide angle lense would diffuse the light a bit more though.

how much did that set you back? I'll be in my current residence for a couple more months, at the most until February, so I have some time to tweek. Since I can't grow in my current location i'm saving and setting up my micro grow to be ready by the time I move out. Since i'll be moving into an apartment i'm choosing to go with the stealth grow, because if something happens with the electricity i'll know that my apt won't stink up in the lights go out. I'm going to be growing Nirvana's Blue Mystic, low on THC end but doesn't smell during the grow, so i'm cool with that.

Yeah, it would be awesome if I could pop it right on top. Oh well! Although, I am going to line it with warm white led strip lighting that I just received from Amazon today.

100w cob: $11
Driver: $30
Heatsink/fan:$16
Lens and bracket:$5
Grounded plug:$2
Est.:$64
Yeah, that's pretty much what I've been doing too bro, tweaking my micro grow because I too am moving very soon and want it ready. And the blue mystic is Nebula's top auto flower pick for the spacebucket (you've probably read the thread). You seem to be on track though! I'll be checking into your grow.

Just go with some of the lower lumen COBs... it doesn't need 4000 lumen monsters... the CXA13 & CXA15 series at 300-500 mA
I have 3 CXA1507s at 350 mA in a 22" veg box (pc server cover) and the plants love it... but they don't get over 10" tall (pot 6" high)
when they are that big and trained it's off to the flower box for em...

You want enough intensity without going overboard... want a fun exercise... go to the DIYcobCalc and do a Vero18 at 350mA in a 1sq ft
it's like 5 heat watts and 1500 lumen, could cram a few in there at those temps...

Yeah, the cob burns my hand at about 6-8" so I pretty much ruled it as being too intense for my small space. I'll probably look into some smaller CREEs like you're working with. Thanks man

I also got all of my stuff for cheap on Amazon. There will be tons of people on here that will downtalk anything that isn't CREE or Ctizen, but I say it's all personal preference and situation. My cob is a 100w warm white Lohas brand led. It's far from top of the line, but will definitely get the job done. It's like the next door neighbor who just got the newest corvette(Cree) and insists on telling you how you need to get one when you're perfectly content with your pick-up truck(less known brand). They both get you from point A to B. So, my advice to you is do whatever YOU want to do and buy whatever YOU want to use. Of course you could take the advice of the cob masters on this site who build CREE beasts with all top of the line shit, which there is nothing wrong with. But, I'm sure an Amazon setup like mine would work fine for your small operation as well.
Cheers
