this is my first grow, i have 3 bagseeds un srpouted(not sure what strain, but was told are dank.) planted in 3 16oz cups with some cheap organic soil which was alittle over 1 dollar at walmart. I have 5 cdl's 2700k 1780 lumens about one inch or little more from top of soil. and my grow box is a 1x1x2 cardboard box painted flat white, current temp is 78 degrees. Does everything sound right? anything i need to change?

Should they be watered much while sprouting?

Also about when will i know if i have any males?

Thanks.

Read the growfaq.

cardboard boxes dont make growtents. You are going to burn whatever you live in down, with five cfl's in a shoebox. once they begin to flower, or you force them to, you will be able to sex them

The card board box wont burn, cfl's barely put off any heat, and there not even touching the box and i have a fan blowing on it.

No i didnt germinate these three i heard you could just germinate them in the soil also. but i also have about 7 more germinating in a moist paper towel and a zip lock bag

Another question, while the seeds are germinating in the bag shoud i leave it around light or dark? and about how long will it take till i need to plant them

Of coarse you can germinate in soil, the only reason not to is to save space/soil so you KNOW which ones are going to sprout. And yes you should water, but only enough to keep things moist.....not wet! depending on conditions,... humidity, soil, temp, etc, ideal watering could be every three days or 3 times a day. Just remember, moist!

Keep the ones in the paper towels and zip locks in the dark, and set them on something warm.... top of fridge, hot water heater, electric blanket, etc, this will make them crack in half the time and you'll get twice the success rate on germination.

Also after the seeds in the paper towels crack open, they are ready to go into the soil. just make sure the tap root (point) is pointing down.
