spraying co2 on plants

hi, mr green in his movie tells us that u can spray ur plants with co2, and they grow better. is this true??

oh yeah,in the form of fizzy water.

Hmm... here's my opinion on this:

Fizzy water contains bubbles containing co2. When sprayed on, the bubbles burst and co2 evaporates into the air. Now airborne, co2 can be used by the plant.

In conclusion, it does work, but it's no better than simply making a co2 generator. Plus, I'd be worried if the water has a too low pH... it could burn the leaves just like it burns your tongue...
