What do you know about misting the plants with a spray bottle? Is that something that should be done pretty often down to not necessary?

I would not mist the plants at all because the lights can use the water droplets on the leaves as a magnifying glass and fry your leaves, I have had this happen before. It is ok for clones because you usually have a humidity dome inbetween the light and the plant. If you are having humidity issues then it is best to get a humidifier or put out bowls or pans of water to evaporate into the air.

I'm on the opposite end here... I mist 2-3 times a week during veg stage while lights are on an 18/6 schedule (using T5HO). You can easily prevent the dreaded "magnifying glass" problem by the combination of having an oscillating fan on combined with misting no more than 2-3 hours before the lights go out.
I prefer to mist because it helps rid the plant of dust particles and other crap floating around in the air. Also, it helps to strenghten the plants branches from the excess weight, which is beneficial of course when it comes to flowering. BTW DO NOT mist once plants are flowering as there is a much larger risk of developing mold/mildew in the buds

strengthening the branches is not a good selling point. a fan does the same thing but better
everything else sounds good. i only mist seedlings and then when i water themi run water over all the leaves

mist them when the lights turn off then your leaves wont get fried by the lights.............. o magic already said this.........

during flower i wouldnt mist at all. just my opinion but i feel as though i get a better cluster of trichomes if the humidity is low and the leafs dont get sprayed.

ya during flowering if your shit is less than 15 RH then you dont wanna spray mist directly on the buds they'll get moldy

I use Thrive Alive B-1 as a foliar spray and water throughout veg. I spray my plants a few times a week. They are under HID lighting but I have an oscillating fan on my plants and it keeps them from getting burned.
I use that stuff on my seedlings, clones, and in the resevoir from start to flush also.
It's great stuff and helps the overall health of the plant. I use it in addition to my regular nutes. You only need a little and it smells fishy and poopy but it works wonders.

I've heard superthrive is the similar but I've never used it. I suppose you could use it for foliar spray but don't take my word for it.
The f*cking label on the bottle for superthrive turns me off. LOL. Can they fit any more text on the label? LOL
I know a lot of good growers and just copy what they do when it comes to nutes, grow room setup, and techniques. Most of them use ThriveAlive instead of superthrive.
What I like about ThriveAlive is that they don't have any secrets about whats going into it so you actually know what you're feeding your plant.
