Hey, just joined up and have been saving up to be properly funded incase of any unexpected costs. I am soon purchasing my equipment and will be using my closet (~2'deep/6'long/8'tall). After reading a ton, i'm planning on using a 400hps system to start a grow with 4-6 plants. I'm growing for myself and girlfriend, tired of getting ripped off and have been interested in it growing for years. We probably go through about 2-3 Oz/month (estimated). I'm considering picking up this setup from HTG High Tech Garden Supply ... I know people say good things about them, and i could potentially drive to pick it up. Anyways, a few questions..
1) Up to how many plants should i attempt to grow in a 2x6x8 area? Obviously i want to get as many in as possible, within reason.
2) Roughly how much will electric bill go up if running 24hrs while in veg?
3) Any suggestions for starting strains? Would prefer to try something exotic, but with a higher rate of success for a noob like meh'
