Starting my 5x7x8 grow room

I like 5×4 area better more room to flower!!!= more bids

I'm going to cover this osb with wood from my old deck or pallet wood to make it look better

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out! That is gonna be a sweet room.

I got the project on hold until I get power ran out here so the electrician doesn't suspect anything lol.

Got my room almost setup installed 2-4” intakes and a 4” exhaust. I’ll be having the exhaust set on a temp timer where it will only come on when inside temps get higher then 75. a 900w meizhi and a 1500w bestva led light before I new any better but we will see how it performs. I’m thinking about getting another meizhi 900w. The room is 5x7 but growing space is going to be 5x4 for now and growing 10- white widow autos.

Well I decided to change my exhaust setup I already had a 6” vortex s line fan just laying around and my 4” filter is pretty old so I went ahead and installed the 6” vortex fan and ordered a ipower 6” carbon filter so as of now my passive intake is 2-4” holes I might have to drill out 1 more 4” hole to help recycle air faster.

For a room that size you likely need more CFM unless you have an AC in there or the ambient temps are really cool. I see you are in a metal building and it's not insulated. If you are drawing your intake air from in there it may get pretty hot.

My exhaust fan is 347 cfm, you don’t think that’s enough? I do not have a ac yet kinda playing it by ear right now my steel building always stays cooler then outside and my grow room is insulated.

Another question I have is I currently don’t have any plants growing yet still setting everything up and seeing how everything plays out and when I have my lights on and exhaust my rh stays around 31% when I add plants and co2 bags will my humidity raise?

I’ve changed my mind on passive intake and going with forced. I have my exhaust on a temputure timer and when temps get to 77 exhaust kicks on and shuts off when it gets to 75.
My question is for my forced intake fan should I put it on a timer as well and have it turn on and off same time as exhaust setup is or different temp settings.

Finally got my lights 2- meizhi 900s which is about 800 watts total for 20 sq ft of grow space. Gonna grow 10- white widow autos from MSNL. I have my exhaust and intake setup to where it kicks on when temps get above 77. Only thing I need to get is a humidifier. The humidity ranges from mid 30s to mid 40s and for veg I want it in the 60s right? After I get that squared away I should be ready to grow. Just gotta find out what size i humidifier I will need. I wonder how much humidity would raise with just a pot of water in there.
