Starting my new crop with Dyna- Gro notes

I am starting my newest crop with the dyna- gro line of nutrients. I just received my dyna-gro nutrients in the mail and I will be growing in hydroponics and have heard many good things about the dyna-gro system. I am just looking for a little friendly advice from other growers using these nutrients. I know there are multiple other threads regarding dyna-gro but I was just looking for some first person advice when it comes to recommended ppms, use of grow 7-9-5, bloom 3-12-6, K-L-N, and anything else DYNA- GRO.

Thanks,
Matt

Stay away from their feeding chart; it tends to make E.C. a bit too high. Pro Tekt and Mag Pro won't raise your E.C. too much but the Grow certainly will. In other words, 100ml of Pro Tekt may raise 20 gallons of water from 3ppm to 80ppm (sorry, no E.C. scale for this guy!!!) but 100ml of Grow will raise 20 gallons of water to 550ppm.

Also, I use 7-9-5 for flowering so if you use 3-12-6, you may want to hold off for at lease the first three weeks after you turn the lights to their 12/12 schedule. Otherwise, you may end up turning your fan leave yellow a bit prematurely.

Personally I like around 0.6 EC for veg and a little over 1.0 EC in flower. If you're using RO water, I'd recommend magpro. Contrary to the post above, magpro is only about 10% less potent than the grow. I also like protekt, it'll kind of balance out your pH while supplying your plants with silica. I have a few journals where I either talk about DG or use it, I like to think they're pretty informative to people not all that familiar with DG. Good luck!
